Our fully equipped Centre is designed to give you, the yoga practitioner, the opportunity to experience quality yoga tuition in this peaceful and pristine setting. The BKS Iyengar Yoga Centre, is owned and run by
senior certified Iyengar yoga teacher David Jacobs (Senior Intermediate III)
The Centre proudly carries, with his blessing and permisson,
the name of our teacher and mentor , Shri B.K.S. Iyengar.
BKS Iyengar Yoga Centre Oudtshoorn is the largest Iyengar yoga-based retreat Centre in Africa offering aspiring teachers the opportunity to learn in a unique immersion environment in breathtaking surroundings at the foothills of the Swartberg mountains, in the Klein Karoo.
The Centre is located in Schoemanshoek about 12.5kms
outside Oudtshoorn on the R328 to the famous Cango Caves.
